December 8, 1934 — October 4, 2017

Cohoes- Richard A. Martin "Pop", 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 with his family by his side. He was the son of the late Clarence and Myrtle Martin. He is predeceased by his wife Rosemary Martin and his son Richard J. Martin.

Richard was employed by King Fuels as a truck driver for many years. Following his retirement he went to go on and work for Community Care Physicians as a part time courier. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his two daughters, Sandra Finn (Christopher) and Tina Lewis (Mark Davenport). He is also survived by his four grandchildren, John Thomas IV, Lisa Robinson, Carolyn Bristol and Tricia Coalts as well as several great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 9:30am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery (Waterford).
