Richard J. Jenkins

Richard J. Jenkins "Johnny", 61, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was the son of Barbara and the late Duane Jenkins. Richard is survived by his loving wife Laurie A. Jenkins.
Richard was employed for 40 years at the Latham Price Chopper holding various positions throughout that time. He was an avid sports fan but really enjoyed the New York Yankees and the Miami Dolphins. Richard also loved traveling, camping and making people laugh with his jokes and puns. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his four grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and mother, Richard is survived by his son, David Jenkins (Ali) and his stepdaughter Shari Hume, his four grandchildren; Serena and Philip Jenkins and Lauren and Andrew Schrom. He is also survived by his two brothers, Robert Jenkins and Gary Jenkins (Suzanne) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
