Richard S. Haydock

Troy- Richard S. Haydock, 76, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late Edward and Louise Haydock. Rich was the loving husband of Patricia (Burke) Haydock.

Rich proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked for the United States Postal Service before his retirement. Rich’s main hobby and love was fishing. He enjoyed being on his boat and on the open water. He was extremely handy and enjoyed gardening.

In addition to his wife, Rich is survived by his son and daughter in law Paul & Mary Haydock. He was the beloved grandfather to his grandson, Andrew Haydock. Rich will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Rich is predeceased by his siblings Nancy and Frank.

A calling hour will be held on Monday, April 13th, 2026 from 10am-11am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 State St, Troy, NY 12180. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11am with interment with full military honors following at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
