Richard Goodrow

Voorheesville - Richard "Dick" Goodrow, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2016. Dick was the son of the late Cornelius and Beulla Goodrow.
Dick was an Eagle Scout and Troop Leader in Voorheesville for many years. He joined the armed forces and was a veteran of the Korean War and later went on to become a Pipefitter for UA Local 7 in Latham. Dick was an active member of the Voorheesville American Legion Post #1493 and a member of Loudonville Community Church, where he went to the Ukraine on a missions trip on two different occasions. Dick was known as a "skilled craftsman" and was very generous with his time and talent to anyone in need.
Dick had a great hope in knowing he would spend eternity with his Savior, Jesus Christ and the family is comforted that he is now at peace.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, October 16, at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Inurnment will be on Monday, October 17 at 12:30 pm at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
