Richard H. Evans, Sr.
July 21, 1937 — March 20, 2018
Richard H. Evans Sr., 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Richard was the son of the late Richard and Kathleen (Keenan) Evans.
Richard is survived by his former wife, Catherine Evans, and his children, Victoria (Howard) Miller, Christine (Brian) Singley, Deborah (Greg) Varney, Richard (Debra) Evans. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Mark Miller, Nicole Miller, Stephanie Singley, Jessica Lussier, Josephine Belmonte, Teresa Belmonte, Joshua Hodge, Leah Evans, and Richard J. Evans.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York on Monday April 2, 2018 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hours at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament, Central Ave., Albany, NY. Burial will be in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Neuroscience Epilepsy Fund at Albany Medical Center which can be specified under "other" in the donation information section at https://community.amc.edu/lifeline
