Richard P. Connell

Richard Paul Connell, 83, took his road trip to Heaven in his Super Sport 396, his very own dream car, on Sunday, October 30, 2022.

Richard was the son of the late Daniel Connell and Evelyn (Connell) Clough. Richard was the devoted husband to Marlene (Spano) Connell. They were married for over 66 years. 

Richard proudly served in the US Air Force, where he was a Meteorologist. After returning from the service he worked at Associated Transport, APA Transport and LeRoy Dedicated Logistics retiring as Vice President. 

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his step-father, Charles Clough, his sister-in-law Cathy Connell and his brother-in-law Rob Rinaldo.

Richard is survived by his wife, Marlene, his children, Richard (Denise) Jr., Kathleen, John (Mary Ellen) and Robert (Tina). He was the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is he brother of Carolyn (Jay) David, Daniel (Carol Ann) Connell, Michael Connell and Christine Rinaldo. 

A private celebration of Richard's life will be held at a later date.
