Altamont - Raymond J. Martin, 89, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born in Albany, NY on December 14, 1927 and moved to Altamont in 1959 and then to Guilderland in 2007.
Ray retired from NYSDMNA in 1984.
Ray is survived by his loving wife Rose of 57 years; his children, Diane M. Scott, Lisa M.(Chris) Scholz, and Mark A. (Patty) Martin; grandchildren, Danielle M. Martin, Alissa M. (Chris) Pinkowski, Emily J. Scholz, and Kyle M. Martin; his sister, Mary A. (Fiore) Femia; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Ray was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Martin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave., Albany, NY. Interment will immediately follow Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Central Ave., NY
