Rensselaer- Raymond E. Corti, 82, passed away March 4, 2025. He was born June 4, 1942 in Plattsburgh, NY.

Raymond was educated in the Rensselaer school system. After high school, he enlisted in the Army, and served in Germany. After his honorable discharge from the army, he was employed at Pioneer Bank and retired after 30 years of service. Raymond enjoyed fishing, classic cars, good food and friends. Raymond was a life member of the American Legion in Wyantskill Post 1489. 

Raymond predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Morse -O’Dell, Step-father Herman O’Dell, Devoted Companion Henrietta Keoughan. Siblings Heather O’Dell, John and Robert O’ Dell.

Raymond is survived by brother Paul O’Dell, sister Donna Cortie. Care taker and cousin Linda Green. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

 The family would like to thank Fresenius Kidney Care of Latham Dialysis and St. Peters Hospital for all of their care and compassion.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 14 from 10am-1130am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 1130am at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
