Phyllis Dru Hand

Phyllis Dru Hand, 85, of Clifton Park, passed on to be with the Lord on February 23rd, 2026. She was born February 14, 1941 in South Glens Falls.

She retired from New York State Dept. of Health Research in 1996 and to moved Florida with her husband John where she stayed until 2021 when she relocated back to the capital region to be closer to family and friends.

Phyllis was also a secretary for a 2 year term at Country lakes II community in Palmetto. She was there for those who needed her. Phyllis was known for her sense of humor and being the life of the party.

She is survived by her son Joseph Enright (Tammy), and step son John Hand (Heidi) as well as her grandchildren whom she adored, Jenna Enright, Helene and Max Hand.

Phyllis will be missed by her many friends, especially her community at the Summit in Halfmoon.

Honoring Phyllis' wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held over the summer for her family and friends to gather and share stories. Service information will be announced.
