Phyllis Brodhead

Albany - Phyllis Brodhead, 77, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Phyllis was the daughter of the late Robert Wimbush, Sr. and Ollie Wimbush. Phyllis was the devoted wife to the late Walter D. Brodhead.

Phyllis was employed for over 30 years with St. Peter's Hospital. Phyllis loved the "Dollar Stores." She had a strong passion for her children and family.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Michael A. Brodhead, Michelle Brodhead; grandchildren, Lord and Reign Hannah; her siblings, Corene Clow, Blanche Ilois Gamble, Linda Faye Porter, her nieces and nephews, Nicole (Markus) Gamble, LaRhonda Donley, Jessica Porter, Raven Slaughter, John F. Jones, Justin Porter, David M. Wimbush, Jeffrey Clow, Gregory Clow, Lydia Malone, Tyrell Wimbush, Gavin Clow and Gabriel Jones; her great nephew, Trevor Johnson, and Malik Clow and her great-great niece, Wisdom Gause; and many loving relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center - Fatima Unit and the Union Missionary Baptist Church for all of their love and support.

Calling hours will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Ave., Albany, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A service will be held, beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens.
