Phuc Thi Nguyen, of Albany, New York, born on October 15, 1949, in Vinh Lộc, Thừa Thiên, Vietnam, was welcomed into the Kingdom of God on November 19, 2025, surrounded by her family, love, and faith. Phuc’s life was a journey marked by courage, devotion, and an unwavering trust in God. After moving to the United States, her faith remained the foundation of her life—reflected in her compassion, humility, and the quiet strength she offered to all who knew her.
Phuc is survived by her beloved siblings Thanh, Khanh, Jioan, Njuyet, Hoang, Hien, and Cuc. She was the loving mother of three sons. Her youngest son, Thai, preceded her in passing. She is survived by her sons Lam and Hung, their wives Yen and Thien, by her daughters-in-law Thuy and Kim.
She was a cherished grandmother to twelve grandchildren: Tuan, Matt, Emily, Grace, Anna, Paul, Maria, Quyen, Luca, Phero, Kaylyn, and Skylar, and a proud great-grandmother to Han and Chole. Phuc is also lovingly remembered by Son Tran and his family, to whom she offered unconditional love and affection.
A devoted grandmother, Phuc found immeasurable joy in guiding and nurturing her grandchildren. Her presence was a place of comfort, deep faith, and boundless love. Her generosity, gentle spirit, and steadfast devotion to both family and God touched every heart around her. She was truly loved by all, and her legacy will continue through the many lives she shaped with grace and kindness.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the Church of Saint Claire, 1947 Central Ave., Albany, NY 12205. A Funeral Mass in honor of our beloved Phuc will follow. Interment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery, 48 Cemetery Ave., Albany, NY 12204, where she will be laid to rest.
May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her, and may her faith-filled life continue to shine through those she leaves behind.
