Sloansville - Philip Doherty, 83, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Philip was the son of the late Philip and Roselyn Doherty. Philip was the devoted husband to Laurel Doherty. They were married 46 years.
Phil was very proud of being a Prudential Agent. He was an avid reader and book collector. Phil also enjoyed his Yankees.
Phil is survived by his children, Doreen (Buzzy), Laura (Pat), Robin, Linda (Eric), Michael (Wendy), Linda (Al, predeceased); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loving friends.
Phil was predeceased by his son, Al; and his beloved dog, Sam.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Phil's memory to Boys Town, 200 Flanagan Boulevard, PO Box 8000,Boys Town, NE 68010, or the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
