Peter E. Warrenchak

Watervliet- Peter E. Warrenchak, of Schenectady NY, passed away suddenly at his home on Sept-8-2016. Peter was 59 years old. Born in Watervliet, Peter graduated from Watervliet High School class of'74 and HVCC '76 for automotive mechanics. He worked for over 35 yrs. for Price Chopper, working hard as the Dairy Manager.

Peter and his wife, Linda Brown, have been together since 1984. Linda & Peter enjoyed going to fairs with close relatives, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with loved ones. Pete was very mechanically oriented, spending time working on his and other's cars. During his life he enjoyed skiing, fishing, hiking, and exploring new sites. Many days he would take day trips looking for historical sites, tourist spots and hidden vistas with his mother and sisters. There was no place his adventurous spirit would leave unturned. In his youth, Pete was part of the Brotherhood Park "crew" on 25th street in V'liet, playing games and cards with the rest of the neighborhood.

His loving and caring survivors include his wife Linda (Brown), his mother Diana Warrenchak and his late father Metro Warrenchak ; brother Jim Warrenchak (Maria) , sisters Pam Warrenchak, Linda Baker and Peggy Jolicoeur (Mike). Peter is also survived by his brother in laws and sister in laws; Patti, Gordon, Jerry, Evie, Brenda and Susan. He is further survived by relatives, cousins, nieces and nephews and his pet cat "Snuggles".

Relatives and Friends may call on Tuesday, Sept 13th from 4:00PM to 7:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, New Karner Rd., Colonie. A funeral service will follow the calling hours starting at 7:00pm. Interment for family and friends will be held Wednesday, September 14, 2016 11:00am at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie. The family will process from the funeral home to Memory Gardens.
