Peter Oliver Breelove

Peter O. Breelove, 72, husband of Cokeshia Breelove, passed away Friday, October 26, 2026, with his loving family by his side.

Peter was born October 21, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of Eddie Breelove and Josephine Dett. He was a lifelong New Yorker, and relocated to Clifton Park with his wife in 2014. Peter loved creating, and spent his life producing music, writing children's books, and enjoying time with his family and his friends. His creativity extended to how he presented himself to the world, and his artistry included his clothes. He was called to teach about the Lord and serve, helping friends and his community whenever he was needed. He found joy in feeding people's bodies and souls, cooking and preaching wherever he went. His generosity and his courage made him known to many, and his sense of humor and his honesty made him beloved.

He is survived by his wife, Cokeshia; his chidren; his eight siblings; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of grandchildren, all dearly loved. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Liz.

His memory will live on through the lives he's touched and the love he felt.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21 from 10am-1:00pm with a service at 1:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie NY.
