Pearl M. DePoalo

Colonie - Pearl M. DePoalo, 97, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 with her loving family by her side. Pearl was the daughter of the late Martin and Maude Donahue. Pearl was the devoted wife to the late George DePoalo. They were married 48 years.

Pearl enjoyed playing bingo and pinochle, hosting family gatherings and babysitting for her grandchildren. Pearl also enjoyed her long-time involvement with West Albany Fire Department #1 Ladies Auxiliary. She was very happy and proud of being part of four generations.

Pearl is survived by her children, Martin (MaryJo) DePoalo and Marie Woodworth; her two grandchildren, Katie and Matt; her three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pearl is predeceased by her sisters, Martha Miller and Edna Darmetko.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm. Interment will immediately follow the service in Memory Garden, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd., Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beltrone Living Center or Eddy Village Green, Cohoes.
