Paul L. Piche

Green Island - Paul L. Piche, 64, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018. Paul was the son of the late Francis and Audrey Piche and was the devoted husband of 21 years to Clara L. Piche.

Paul was an avid astronomer and loved to play the drums. After graduating from Troy High School in 1973, Paul enlisted in to the Air Force, where he was honorably discharged. He graduated with an Associate's Degree from Hudson Valley Community College in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. Paul had a great passion for Electronics. He frequently designed, made, and used his own electronic devices such as power supplies, lasers, vacuum tubes, amongst many other experimental projects. Most of all, Paul enjoyed being a devoted grand father to his grand kids.

In addition to his beloved wife Clara, Paul is survived by his sons, Paul E. (Tabetha) Piche, Aaron D. Piche, William M. Finch, and Michael T. Finch, grand children, Tristan, Brendan, Abigail, Katriana, Aaron, Britain, Paul, Gavin, and Audriana, siblings, Francis (Jayne) Piche, Colleen Snyder, Laurie Erno, Diane (Steve) Corey, and David Piche, along with many loved family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held the following day at the funeral home at 11:00 am with the burial to follow at 1:30 pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
