Patrick D. Sickles

Patrick D. Sickles, 74, husband to Linda Sickles, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

Born in 1952, in Albany, NY, he was the son to the late Joseph and Alice Sickles.

Patrick dedicated years before retiring from the Highway Dept. of North Greenbush. After retiring, he started working for the North Greenbush Townhall. Many co-workers turned into a second family for Patrick. Making it a joy to come to work every day.

He was well loved by everyone. He could find a friend almost everywhere he went and was willing to help anyone who may need it. He found joy when exercising, especially when he got the chance to do so outside.

In addition to his parents, Patrick is predeceased by his siblings, Nancy Rogers and Joseph Sickles.

Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda Sickles. By his three daughters, Amy Lisewski, Jennifer (Scott) Jones, and Amy (Martin) Johns. His grandchildren, Meghan King and Joseph King Jr. By his siblings, Edward Sickles and Leslie Cavanaugh. As well as by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family would like to extend their upmost gratitude to NYOH, specifically Makenzi Evangelist and Maeve Dargush for their care and compassion to Patrick.
