Patrick J. Korolewicz

Patrick J. Korolewicz, 71, passed away on February 13, 2026, with his family and best friend, Colleen, by his side.

He was born on November 19, 1954 in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, France, and had immigrated to the United States in February of 1956.

Pat was a graduate of Colonie Central High School in 1972. He was very proud to serve in the United States Marine Corp. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends, but his passion was playing his guitar and singing in local venues.

He was predeceased by his mother, Jeannine Korolewicz.

Pat is survived by his father, Kazimierz; sisters, Regina Cleveland (Paul) and Sylvia Maimone (the late Johnny); children, Beth Gagliardi (Mike), Shelly Prothro (Jared) and Patrick Jr.; several grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family. Pat was blessed to have his beloved friend, Colleen Babeyko, who cared for him, day in and day out, for several years.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Samaritan Hospital.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet. A brief service to follow at 2 p.m.
