Patricia J. Myers

COLONIE - Patricia J. Myers, 87, left us peacefully on January 13, 2026, at home, surrounded by her daughters. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Pat will always be remembered for her thoughtfulness.

Born February 3, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Sophie Rowny. Pat attended the Pinebush two-room Schoolhouse on Curry Rd Ext., and graduated in 1955 from Draper High School. She worked at the Schenectady Gazette, Steak and Ale, and in 1983 she found her true passion working for Scott’s Hallmark, retiring Jan. 2025.

Pat is survived by her three daughters Kathleen Myers (Ben Lentini), Cindy (Jim) White, Chris (Joe) Mitchell, grandmother to Joe (Amanda) Mitchell, sister to Ann (Anthony) Pennelli, nephew Donald (Laure Anne) Pennelli, as well as several cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years James, who has enjoyed 10 years of peaceful solitude.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. EST at St. Clare’s Church, 1947 Central Ave., Colonie. A graveside service will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.

Those who wish may make donations in Pat’s memory to Schenectady City Mission, Salvation Army Schenectady, or St. Clare’s Church.
