Patricia A. Mayer, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Patricia was the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Bulson) Spiers.

Patricia was the devoted wife of 30 years to the late James C. Mayer.

Patricia graduated from Heatly High School, Green Island, then from SUNY Cobleskill. She retired from Saratoga County Department of Health after many years.

She loved listening to music and reading, enjoyed her bird feeders, and was an avid New York Yankees fan.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Richard W. Spiers.

Patricia is survived by her children, Jamie M. (Tolani Lawal) Mayer and Stephen J. (Kathi Elizabeth) Mayer and her granddaughter Sage Elizabeth. She is the proud aunt of Mark (Elizabeth) Spiers and their children, John "Jack", Nora and Saoirse.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY on Sunday February 15, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148 and Paralyzed Veterans of America P.O. Box 758589, Topeka, KS 66675 in Patricia's memory.
