Patricia A. Marx

Patricia A. Marx, née Danz, born on June 1, 1955, in Albany, peacefully passed away on May 15, 2026, at home surrounded by family. 

For 38 years, Patricia dedicated herself to running a home daycare, a role through which she touched the lives of countless children and families.   A true homebody at heart, Patricia found joy and peace in the simple pleasures of life—most notably in assembling jigsaw puzzles.

 She is survived by her longtime companion, Peter Bubb, with whom she shared over 20 years together. Her children, Dawn Park ( Ray Park), George Marx IV (April Marx), and Kristina Dziuba ( Christopher Dziuba) , Peter's son Christopher Bubb, as well as Patricia’s siblings, Dennis Danz, Stephen Danz (Deborah Danz), Richard Danz (Barbara Danz), and Bruce Danz, 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Her life was also marked by memories of those who have passed before her. She joins in eternal rest her parents, Ferdinand Danz Jr. and Ruth Danz, her daughter Kimberly Marx, and her brothers Robert Danz and Brian Danz, as well as sister-in-law Laurie Danz. 

Patricia’s quiet strength, her heartfelt devotion to family, and her gentle presence will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday May 20th from 9:30am-10:30am with at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd Colonie NY 12205. 

Interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
