Patricia J. Mailloux Bosch, 90, passed away peacefully at home on July 26, 2017. Born on October 18, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois, Patricia was the daughter of Alexander McDermid and Monica Kelley McDermid. In 1940, Patricia and her family moved from Chicago to Albany, NY. She graduated from Albany High School in 1944, where she excelled in English and Latin studies. On December 4, 1944 Patricia married her sweetheart, Ensign William H. Mailloux, United States Navy and travelled with him to his assignments in Boston, Massachusetts, Newport, Rhode Island and Washington, DC. He was later deployed to the Pacific Theatre during World War II. After William's honorable discharge he graduated from Albany Law School and they settled in the family home in Watervliet, NY.

Patricia dedicated her life to her family, instilling in her children her strong Catholic faith and Irish heritage. Everyone was welcome in her warm, loving home -- always full with family, friends, food and laughter. Patricia was a communicant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and the former Sacred Heart of Mary Church, Watervliet, where she served as President of the Rosary Society. She was an accomplished Sales Representative for many years with the Avon Company and earned numerous awards for outstanding achievement. Patricia was also an expert seamstress. She will long be remembered for her stunning natural beauty, sharp intelligence and quick Irish wit.

In 1993, her beloved husband of 49 years William Mailloux passed away. She was later married to Pastor William Bosch for 20 years until his passing in March 2017. She is survived by her six children, Lynne Mailloux of Watervliet, Carole (William) Rainville of Newtonville, Patricia (Peter Hanley) Mailloux of Latham, Kathleen (Mark Babie) Mailloux of Albany, William (Jan) Mailloux of Arizona, and Cherie Mailloux Whitney of Cohoes; eleven grandchildren, Angeline Grasso, Anthony W Grasso Sr, Dr. Michelle Rainville, Sean (Kristy) Hanley, Ryan Hanley Sr, Monica (Michael) Buckley, Nicholas (Erin Coffey) Babie, William Mailloux III, Patrick (Amanda) Whitney, Anna Whitney and Madison Cavanaugh-Mailloux; eight great grandchildren, Mackenzie, C.J. and Reilly Lenahan, Ryan Hanley Jr, Anthony W Grasso Jr, Asha Allen, Victoria Coffey-Babie and Patricia Whitney; her brother, James McDermid (Jane) of Rome, NY, and many loving friends.
