Patricia Ann Davis

Patricia Ann Davis, 70 years, from Albany, New York, passed away on December 29, 2024.

Patricia was born on January 22, 1954, to parents Alexander and Harriet Dickerson in Sommerville, Tennessee. After graduating from Fayetteville-Ware High School in 1972, Patricia received numerous academic scholarships and chose to attend The University of Memphis (formerly Memphis State University), where she majored in Early Childhood Education.

At the time of her passing, Patricia was employed as an administrative assistant for the New York State Housing Trust Fund Corporation. She was a private person who cherished her beloved daughter and grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading, going to movies, dining at restaurants, shopping and gardening.

Patricia was predeceased by her mother, Harriet (Taylor) Dickerson, and father, Alexander Dickerson. She is survived by her only daughter, Angela Davis, Albany, New York; two sisters, Gloria Bean, Memphis, Tennessee, and Margaret Robinson, Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Daniel Williams, Darius Williams, Natiya Williams, and Our’Quan Owens; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

As we grapple with the loss of her physical presence, we find solace in knowing that Patricia’s spirit lives on through our loving memories of her.

Services will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, New York 12205. Family and friends are invited to attend. Visitation hours will be held on Friday, January 10th from 10:00am – 12:00pm with the Celebration of Life service to follow at 12:00pm. This service will be livestreamed.
