LOUDONVILLE - Patricia Catherine Mullin, 83, of Loudonville passed away on Monday, June 1, 2015.
Pat was born in Albany on November 29, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Mary (McDermott) Mullin.
Pat grew up on Bertha Street in Albany. She graduated from Vincentian High School, attended Albany College of Pharmacy and graduated from the College of St. Rose. Pat was a respected histologist at the Albany Veteran's Hospital from where she retired after 25 years of service. Upon retirement Pat worked part-time in the histology labs at St. Peter's, Samaritan, and Albany Memorial hospitals for many years until her health prevented continued work. Pat was an avid reader. She loved to travel, especially to Aruba where she vacationed for 20 years. She loved nothing better than to sit on the beach and read all day long. Pat was a wonderful gardener and grew beautiful flowers in her yard in Loudonville. She also had a great love for animals and always had treats and toys ready for four-legged visitors. The squirrels and birds in her neighborhood were well fed!
Pat is survived by numerous cousins. Special thanks to cousins Thomas and Kathryn Norton for all their care and support during the past several years.
