Patrice C. Britton, 69, passed away on October 13, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, Patrice was the daughter of the late Eloise Galimore and William Burke.

Patrice was a charismatic and outgoing woman whose personality could brighten any room. She had a natural ability to connect with people and was known for being trustworthy, caring, and genuine. Whether sharing a conversation, offering a listening ear, or simply spending time with those she loved, Patrice had a way of making people feel welcome and valued.

Above all, Patrice’s life was enriched by the love of her family. She leaves behind her three children, Diane Burke, Jonathan Burke-Britton, and Richard Britton; and six beloved grandchildren, Jaylynn Balkaran, Marlon Balkaran, Xavier Britton, Isaac Britton, Zayn Britton, and Alaria Britton.

She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Henderson and Arlene Burke.

Patrice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Autry Britton; her parents, Eloise Galimore and William Burke; and her siblings, William Burke, Thomas Burke, Robert Burke, Sidney Burke, and Diane Burke.

While her passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, Patrice will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her kindness, and the many ways she touched the lives of others. Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends, and through the love and laughter they shared.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of the life of Patrice on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, NY 12189

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 7:00 p.m.
