Pat Winters

Patricia C. Winters, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was survived by her only daughter Michelle C. Colon (Vann), her son in-law Eligio Colon Jr., her two grandchildren Taylor A. Perkins and Taryn E. Perkins. Patricia was predeceased by her brother James Vann, father James Vann and her mother Barbara Worcester (Vann). Patricia like making stuffed bears for her grandchildren. Enjoyed watching Bob Villa, this old house, pit bulls and parolees, and her favorite show CSI 24/7. Patricia graduated from Scotia High School. Patricia worked for stores in the area starting with Barkers. That’s where she met her best friend Colleen. She later worked for Bradley’s, Caldor, Ames, Jamesway, Walmart, JoAnn’s and ended her long career in retail at Advanced Auto Parts as a store level inventory manager (SLIM). Patricia with michelle would also enjoy watching CD Coville and others at the dirt tracks like Malta, Fonda and Syracuse for super dirt week. This lead to the love of NASCAR. She watched the race every Sunday. She watched Dale Earnhardt Sr. until his death in 2001. Then the love grew more for Dale Earnhardt Jr. She would never miss a race on TV. Michelle had the same love and they both would call each other to remind one another watch channel and time.

She will be greatly missed! A celebration of life will be held at Michelle’s residence, On Saturday August 23, 2025 between 12-3pm. Please reach out to the family for additional information.
