Pat J. Alfano

Halfmoon- Pat J. Alfano, 101, husband of the late Rosemary D. Alfano of Halfmoon NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the Van Rensselaer Manor in Troy, NY.

Pat was born November 3, 1923, in Utica NY to the late Lester and Mary (Tedesco) Alfano of Utica, NY.

Pat achieved the rank of Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was deployed during WWII. Following his military service, he was employed as an Office Manager by IBM in Schenectady and Albany for over 35 years.

Pat is survived by his son Mark of Scotia, NY, his daughter Kim (Richard Vogel) of Halfmoon NY, his granddaughters Lisa Evans (Carnot) of Kissimmee, FL and Lauren Rahill (Tim) of Clemmons, NC, and four great-grandchildren Carnot Andrew and Maxwell Evans along with Kellan and Ryland Rahill.

In addition to his wife Rosemary, Pat was pre-deceased by his brothers Anthony and Ray and his sister Phyllis (Guido), and Mark’s wife Christine.

A Celebration of Life to honor Pat will be held in July. Pat will then be interred beside his beloved Rosemary at Calvary Cemetery in Utica, NY with his immediate family attending his burial.
