SCHENECTADY- Norma J. Spaulding, 90, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family.
Norma was born in Charleston, NY on November 2, 1927 to the late Fred and Blanche Post. In 1947 Norma married the love of her life, LeRoy J. Spaulding. They were married for over 60 years. Together they raised two children. Norma was an active member of Grace Baptist Church (formerly Stanford Heights Baptist Church) in Guilderland.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, LeRoy J. Spaulding, and her siblings, Charles Post, Roland Post, Lisle Post, and Bernard Post.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia Spaulding, and Kevin Spaulding, her siblings, Doris Rose, Janet (Elwyn) Becker, Ora Mae Fancher, Beryl Millspaugh, and Glenn Post, her three grandchildren, Kevin (Stefanie) Spaulding Jr., Angela Spaulding, and Daniel (Heather) Spaulding, and four great-grandchildren, Stacy, Dawson, Ava, and Savannah.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Norma's name to Grace Baptist Church, 5958 State Farm Road, Guilderland, NY 12804
