Nicholas Varrone

SCHENECTADY - Nicholas Varrone entered peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday October 22, 2026. Nick was born in Caiazzo, province of Caserta Italy on September 28, 1949. A son of the late Domenico and Lucia Varrone. He immigrated to the United States in October 1961. Nick was a former draftsman at General Electric and retired from numerous sales roles in the capital region.

Nick was predeceased by his wife of 27 years Pinuccia J. 'Penny' Pino Varrone and step-grandson, Joseph Pino. He is survived by daughter, Lia (Ed) Despres stepchildren, Anthony M. (Kimberly) Pino, Frank C. (Eva Darnell) Pino, Michela M. (James) Del Monico; grandchildren, Kiersta (PJ), Chelsea, Christopher, Francesco (Haley), Alexander, Elena, Audrey, Sabrina, Vivian and Oscar; great grandchildren, Leighla, Levi and Carmelo; sister in law Giovanna Barone and brother in law Anthony (Lucille) Guzzardi.

Funeral services will be held privately.
