Nicholas A. Camilli

November 7, 1998 — October 26, 2023

WYNANTSKILL – Nicholas A. Camilli, 24, formerly of Loudonville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 26, 2023.

He was born in Niskayuna on November 7, 1998 a son of David J. Madsen and Angela (Rarick). Nicholas went to school in the North Colonie School District; Loudonville Elementary, Shaker Junior and Senior high schools where he graduated in January 2016.

Nicholas attended HVCC for a few semesters before joining the US Marines in 2018. He served four years and was honorably discharged in 2022.

Nicholas was a level-headed sincere and compassionate soul. He never hesitated to drop everything to be there for his loved ones, especially his mother, anytime of the day or night. His sisters always razzed him for being mom's favorite. His piercing blue eyes melted his mom's heart the day he was born and every single day there after. He loved bike rides on beautiful days. And loved to attend any car meet he could find. He loved muscle cars and motorcycles. His father, Dave taught him how to be the best possible version of himself. He loved hard. His prized possession was his Ninja ZX6R. Literally was his pride and joy. Any day without rain, Nicholas could be found 'lapping' the capital region with his bike buddies. Nicholas was currently waiting for his NYS Trooper exam test results and in the process of buying a local business and franchise. His dream was always to be a police officer, FBI or DEA.

He had huge dreams and huge goals. The world was a better place with him in it.

He is survived by his mother, Angela DePasquale (formerly of Loudonville) and her companion, Paul Colloca of Oswego, NY; his father David J. Madsen (Hannah) of Wynantskill; his step father Mark DePasquale of Loudonville, his siblings, Ashlee Garland (Joshua) of Schenectady, Phoebe DePasquale (Joshua) of Auburn and Megan and Alyssa Camilli of Latham, Angela Camilli of Latham, his step brother Caleb Colloca and step sister Gracie Colloca of Oswego, NY, his precious niece Margaret (Maggie) Rose Kyle-DePasquale of Auburn, NY, his grandmother Barbara Madsen and his 5 uncles, Howie, Bobby, Terry, Richard and Michael of Poestenkill, NY and his long time companion Mikalina Colaccino of Clifton Park, NY.
