Nancy E. Dunn, 75, peacefully joined her mom and dad in Heaven on Friday, October 21, 2016.
Nancy was the daughter of the late Richard W. and Elizabeth Dunn.
She was a graduate of Colonie Central High School, graduating with the Class of 1959 and attended Albany Medical Nursing School in 1960.
She loved her pets, gardening, camping and spending time with her nephews, niece, great nephews and great nieces, as well as her close friends and neighbors.
Nancy is survived by her brother, Robert H. (Dawn) Dunn, of Glens Falls, NY. She is the proud Aunt of Matthew R. (Melissa) Dunn, of Waldorf, MD, Nathan P. (Jessica) Dunn and Katrina M. Stimpson of Glens Falls, NY. She is also survived by her great nieces and nephews; Rowan E. Stimpson, Willow D. Stimpson, Kyle J. Dunn, Z S. Dunn and Levi S. Dunn.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the River Ridge Living Center for all of their care and compassion given to Nancy and her family. They would also like to thank her good friends Betsy, Steve and her neighbors Kenny and Evie for all of their help and love given to her over the years.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204, in Nancy's memory.
