Nagwa Habib, born on November 7, 1954, of Schenectady, NY, passed peacefully on November 8, 2025, resting in the arms of Christ. A devoted child of God, Nagwa lived a life marked by unwavering faith, steadfast hope, and complete trust in God’s plan. Nagwa had a true servant’s heart, always putting other’s needs before her own. She was a living testimony of the power of faith expressed through service. Nagwa’s family, friends, and her community at St. Mary & St. George Coptic Orthodox Church will remember her for compassion, generosity, and a spirit that radiated the peace and love of God. Nagwa lived each day confident in God’s presence, finding joy in surrendering fully to His will and helping others along the way.
She is survived by her beloved children, Michael (Deborah) Habib and Sarah Habib; her cherished granddaughter, Lyla Habib; and her loving siblings, Nadia Aziz, Nader Demian, Nadim (Patricia) Demian, and Noha Demian. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
