Morgan "Pie" Heidrich, 17, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, in the arms of her mother and father, surrounded by comfort and love. From the moment she arrived, Morgan carried a light that touched every life around her. Her journey was marked by courage, sweetness, and a spirit that taught others how to love with patience and depth.
Born in Upstate New York, Morgan spent her life wrapped in the devotion of her family - especially the bond she shared with her mother, Natalie. Their connection was something sacred, built on trust, tenderness, and a love that needed no explanation.
She also shared a strong, steady love with her father, John, whose presence and care meant the world to her.
Known affectionately as "Pie," Morgan brought joy in ways that were simple and pure.
She loved music with all her heart. Her favorite song, "Wheels on the Bus," could always make her smile and clap her hands.
She carried her little boombox speaker everywhere, filling her days with 90s country and gospel music - sounds that brought her comfort, rhythm, and happiness. Music was her language, her joy, and the thing that could reach her even on the hardest days.
Pie also had a gentle resilience that inspired everyone who knew her. Despite her medical challenges, she lived with a quiet bravery that reminded those around her to slow down and appreciate the small miracles: a familiar song, a warm hug, a soft smile.
Morgan shared an especially deep love with her sister, Myah. Pie adored Myah like no tomorrow, and Myah would do anything for her. Their bond was a constant source of joy, comfort, and strength for both of them.
Morgan is preceded in death by her sister, Brook, with whom she will now rest in eternal peace in New York. She is also predeceased by her beloved Poppy, Brewer Lee, and her grandmother, Alice Fisher, who welcomed her with open arms.
She leaves behind her mother, Natalie Fisher; her father, John Heidrich; her sister, Myah; and a family who loved her fiercely and without hesitation, especially her Pop Pop and Nana; Candy and Randy Goodman. Her absence is immeasurable, but so is the love she leaves behind.
Her family is preparing to bring her home to New York, where she will be laid to rest beside her sister - a reunion of two beautiful souls who were never meant to be apart.
A celebration of Morgan's life will be held at a later date. Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has prayed, supported, and stood beside them throughout Pie's journey. Your love has given them strength when they needed it most.
Morgan "Pie" Heidrich leaves behind a legacy of love, music, and quiet courage. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.
