Monique St. Hilaire

Albany- 

Monique Margaret St. Hilaire, 70, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Cohoes, NY, November 2, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Rosanne (Pelletier) St. Hilaire.

Monique was a 1974 graduate of Cohoes High School. She enjoyed traveling and being outdoors, camping with her family, close friends and spending time at the ocean. She loved making jewelry and entertaining her family. She was employed by CSEA until her retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Astel, her brother Andre St. Hilaire, her sisters, Lisa Schafer and Suzanne (Paul) St. Pierre. Her nieces, Genevieve and Madeleine, her nephews Erik Schafer and Finneas St. Pierre. She is also survived by many beloved Canadian relatives. In addition, she was predeceased by her brother Michel (Mich) St. Hilaire and sister-in-law Rose St. Hilaire.

The family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Albany Medical Center, Albany Medical Oncology and New York Oncology Hematology Cancer Center. We would also like to extend our appreciation to Monique’s neighbors and the staff at Montclair for their thoughtfulness and care.
