Albany – Miles R. McDowell, 71, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2008 after a long illness. He is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Michelle McDowell. He is the devoted father of, Christopher (Barbara) Little; loving step-father of Nicole Clark-Rankin and her husband Cedric, Tiffany Clark and Latricia Chapman. He is the grandfather of 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters and a host of other close family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 9, at 12:00pm. Burial at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Michelle asks that you make contributions to Juvenile Diabetes Northeastern New York Chapter 6 Greenwood Drive, East Greenbush, NY 12061 or the National Kidney foundation of Northeast New York 99 Troy Road, Suite 200, East Greenbush, NY 12061.
