Albany- Miguel A. Rodriguez,73, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Miguel was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, to the late Gregorio Rodriguez and Severiana Mateo-Rodriguez.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Rodriguez, and his sisters, Juana Rodriguez-Mateo and Carmen Rodriguez-Mateo.
Miguel is survived by his loving daughters, Magdalena (Jonathan) Moffre, Mary (William) Padilla, and Margarita (John) Bassett; his cherished grandchildren, Diego, Damian, Mariana, Manny, Jocelyn, Jonathan Jr., Alina, Cameron, and Christian; his great-granddaughter, Giselle; his brother, Jorge Rodriguez; his sister, Gloria Rodriguez-Rivera; and his longtime companion of more than 20 years, Nancy Nolan.
Miguel was loved by many and affectionately known as “Uncle Miguel.” He will be remembered most for the deep love he had for his daughters, especially the close and cherished bond he shared with his youngest, Margarita. He lovingly referred to her as “Mama,” and she will always be his baby.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that his love will remain with us always.
