Schenectady- Michelle Marie Avery , 60, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Michelle was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marlene Lane. Michelle was the devoted wife to the John Avery. They were married 42 years.
Michelle's life was her children, grandchildren and her dog, Max. Her favorite sports teams were the NY Yankee's and the NY Giants, whom she enjoyed watching with the whole family. To Michelle, family was everything and she taught John all he knows about cooking.
Michelle is survived by her children, Michael (Kristy), Christie, Craig, and Brian; her grandchildren, Natalie, Luke, Juliana, and Aiden; her sister, Terry (Jim); and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Madeline Sophie Church, 3500 Carmen Rd., Schenectady. Inurnment to follow at St. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Rotterdam.
Donations may be made in Michelle's memory to St. Jude's Children Research, 14 Penn Plz Suite 1615, New York, New York 10122.
