Michele Scott-Robertson, 60, wife of Keith Robertson, passed away on Saturday April 26, 2025.
Born May 1st, 1964, in Albany NY, she was the daughter of the late Delores and Roosevelt Scott.
Michele attended Albany High School after which she began her nursing career, and shortly after became a CNA. Years later she entered nursing school and achieved status as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Michele then went back to obtain her BSN in Nursing. Ten years later she graduated with her Master's degree, Nurse Practitioner in Adult Gerontology in primary care. Michele worked at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center, Albany County Nursing Home, Center for Disability, Optum United Healthcare and Whitney Young.
Throughout life Michele helped lead her team in Alzheimer's Walk, completed an annual BNC Breast Cancer Walk, served meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House. Several donations to St. Jude's. Her compassion always to help others.
Michele was preceded in death by her mother Delores and father Roosevelt Scott. She is survived by her husband Keith Robertson of North Carolina, Children; Shonte Freeman (Gina) of North Carolina, Shantasia (Keshawn) Tolliver of Watervliet NY, Kiarra Tolliver of North Carolina, Lashana Tolliver of Watervliet NY; Stepchildren Kiserine (Jason) Robertson-Badchkam. Keithesha Robertson, Annshardy Robertson and Keith Roberston Jr. Michele is also survived by her sisters Barbara (Rob) Jones, Evelyn (Todd) Blackwell; Brothers, Donas (Marcia) Scott, Gazell (Dorthea) Scott, Alvin Henderson, Evin Scott and Justin Scott; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Michele will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, May 8, 2025, for a Visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a Funeral Service to begin promptly at 11:00 am at Macedonia Baptist Church, 26 Wilson Ave, Albany, NY 12205. Before the Funeral Service begins, the Capital Region Nurses Honor Guard will perform a brief service to show appreciation for their fallen colleague, recognizing Michele for her lifelong compassionate service to the nursing profession, patients, and communities. This will begin at 10:45am. Interment will take place at Albany Rural Cemetery.
