Michael Anthony Williams affectionately known as “Prince” passed away peacefully at Samaritan Hospital on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Born to Cleva Davis and Jack Bruton on July 6,1966, in the City of Albany, Michael was a peculiar child. He marched to his own beat from his first breath to his last. Michael wasn’t just stubborn, he was Mulish. His mind was always made up. If he thought it, it was so.
He attended Albany High School and worked at Redemption Christian Academy in Troy, NY and later worked at Saint Anne Institute until his illness in June 2024.
Michael enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially on holiday. Christmas and Thanksgiving was
reserved immediate family only, and from this he never deviated.
Michael was a true Lakers fan. No matter the time or day, if there was a Lakers game on TV you knew exactly where
to find him with his game gear in tow.
Though he was strong-willed, he was the guy that would give you the shirt off his back. He was a kind soul and loved
everyone he connected with. He had a wonderful sense of humor, quick to the wit with a laughter that wouldn’t quit.
If he was laughing, everyone was laughing whether they knew why or not, his laughter was contagious and his smile inviting.
