Michael Galvin

Michael P. Galvin, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Michael was born in Albany the late Peter and Dolores Galvin.

He volunteered at the City Mission and loved helping others. He enjoyed trips to the casino, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his brothers Peter, John and James Galvin.

Michael is survived by his sisters, Linda (Bill) Gauvin, Nancy Florio, Mary (Robert) LaMay, Susan Impellizzeri, his brothers George Galvin, William (Judy) Galvin, Charles (Lisa) Galvin and many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.

He will be missed by his many friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Tuesday June 23, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be a sharing of memories on Tuesday June 23, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of fresh cut flowers, the family is asking for you to send a plant to the funeral home, to honor Michaels love for plants.
