Maurine Mansourian

Maurine Lee Mansourian, 88, of Wynantskill NY passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024. 

Maurine (Renie) was born in Stromsburg, NE on March 13,1936 a daughter of the late Severt and Thelma (Blazer) Peterson. 

Maurine has a BA in Education from SUNY New Paltz and spent most of her life working with people with intellectual disabilities at the ARC in Rensselaer and Albany counties. 

Maurine enjoyed reading books, listening to classical music and had a love for various forms of dance. 

Maurine was predeceased by her sister, Betty Lou Larson.

Survivors include her three children, Cynthia Mansourian, Neda Whitney, and Amir Mansourian Jr. (Kristi Terry); three grandchildren, Morgan Mansourian (Garrett Brogan), Alexandria Whitney and Aidan Whitney; her brother, Severt W. Peterson Jr. as well as several nieces and nephews. 

A private graveside service will be held.
