Marye Manning Gilbert

Marye Manning Gilbert, 83, passed away on May 9, 2026.

Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William Manning and Margaret Poffahl (McQueen).

Marye was a graduate of Horicon High School, and was employed with Yellow Cab Co. for over 50 years.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward C. Gilbert III; step-father, Edward Poffahl and her brothers and sisters.

Marye is survived by her son, Scott W. Manning (Jennifer); grandchildren, Scott E. Manning, Michael L. Manning and Brittany M. Manning; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Red Cross.
