Maryanne E. Benoit

Maryanne E. "Betty" Benoit, passed away peacefully at home on April 23, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old.
The daughter of the late James and Mary (Gill) Earl, Betty was born on June 1, 1932 in Albany, NY. She worked for the state of New York for many years until her retirement in 2000.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Hank Benoit; her siblings: Jane Leonard, John "Jack," William, and James Earl and her granddaughter Cassandra "Cassie" Kindlon. She is survived by her loving daughters: Karen Kindlon of Albany, Linda Wagoner of Saratoga, Maryann Berlin of Watervliet, Kathryn Divone of New Hampshire; her loving sons: Robert and James Benoit of Albany, Edward Benoit of Ravena and William Benoit of Earlton; her sister Dorothy Coffey of Albany; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Monday April 27 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9am on Tuesday, April 28 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave., Albany. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
