LATHAM - Mary Lynne Pembrook, 78, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Lynne was born on March 9, 1939 in Troy and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Marion (Bruce) Carey. She worked for the North Colonie School District as a noon aide at Boght Hills Elementary School. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved traveling to Cape Cod, Disney World, and many summers spent at the Jack O'Lantern. Two of her passions through the years were her collectible bears and her beloved pets.
Lynne is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, Lester Pembrook; her loving children, Denise, Dawn, Brian (Sandra) and Steven (Dana); her cherished grandchildren, Bob and Jessica Williams, Ashley, Morgan, Paige, Jillian and Cameron Pembrook and her sister-in-law, Karen (Ron).
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Schuyler Ridge and to Community Hospice for the wonderful care given to Lynne.
