Mary Mons

GUILDERLAND – Mary A. Gendron Mons, died Monday, December 13, 2004 at the Resurrection Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Cohoes on September 5, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Ella Ashley Gendron. Mary worked for the New York State Dept. of Health from where she retired in 1983. She is the beloved wife of Francis "Bud" Mons of Guilderland. She is the mother of Brian E. Mons and his wife, Janice of Naugatuck, CT and the late Donald J. Mons. She is the sister of Joan Gendron of Cohoes and the late Edward T. Gendron. She is the grandmother of Derek Mons of Ogdensberg, NJ, Melissa Mons Brown of New Haven, CT, and Meghan E. Mons of Manchester, CT.
A Memorial Service will be held in Naugatuck, CT at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 12 Avis Drive, Latham, NY 12110 in memory of Mary A. Mon
