Mary T. McCadden (Isabella), 97, peacefully passed away on May 3, 2026, at 7:45 p.m. at the Schenectady Center.
Born on April 7, 1929, in Schenectady, NY, she was the daughter of the late Philamena Torelli Isabella and Ralph Isabella.
Mary worked as a bookkeeper for various companies throughout her career, most recently with Amsure Associates of Albany. She remained dedicated to her work, continuing full-time employment until the age of 78. Mary attended Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady while also helping in her family’s grocery store, Isabella’s.
Mary found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She adored her chihuahua, Missy, and enjoyed keeping score of New York Yankees games. She especially loved gathering friends and family for meals, with Thanksgiving holding a special place in her heart. Mary was a devoted parishioner of St. Luke’s Church.
In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, John McCadden; and her brothers, Carmen Isabella of Burnt Hills and James Isabella of Chittenango, NY.
She is survived by her loving son, Mark A. Musto, and daughter-in-law, Rita Musto; her sister, Eleanor Tricozzi of South Carolina; her three cherished grandchildren, Alex, Greg, and Nicole Musto; and her three great-grandchildren, Adelina, Josephine, and Elisa Musto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service to immediately follow at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
