Mary "Louise" LeMay

Mary "Louise" LeMay, 83, wife of the late Arthur A. LeMay Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday June 9, 2025 following a prolonged illness.

Throughout her life, Louise worked at various hotels within the Capital Region. Holding many different positions and meeting many of her greatest friends. While she wasn't at work, she enjoyed flea markets, garage sales, casinos, playing bingo and watching her Yankees. Before her health declined, she could be found on Wednesday mornings at Town and Country lanes and Thursday nights at Westlawn Lanes. She also enjoyed cheering on her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren while they played softball, baseball, and bowling.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Art, Louise was predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis and Barbara.

Louise is survived by her four beloved children, Arthur J. (Elise) LeMay, Barbara LeMay-Desrosiers, Michael (Cathy) LeMay, and John (Tessa) LeMay. Her grandchildren: Kirstyn (Ethan) Scofield, Alana Desrosiers, Abigail "Abbey" LeMay, Ryan LeMay, Hallie LeMay and Luke LeMay. Her great grandchildren, Aurora "Rory" Scofield and Abel "Bubba" Scofield.

The family would like to specially acknowledge all of the St. Peter's Hospice Inn staff for the extraordinary care, compassion, and empathy during this difficult time.

Friends may call Monday, June 16, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205 with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held privately to honor the families wishes.
