Mark D. Broadhead

Mark D. Broadhead, 59 husband of Sandra A. (O’Donnell) Broadhead passed away August 6, 2025 at Delmar Center Rehabilitation.

Born of March 25, 1966 in Catskill, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Joanne (Simpkins) Broadhead. Also, brother to the late Keith Broadhead.

In addition to his wife Sandy of 22 years, Mark is survived by his brother in law to Dennis O’Donnell of Troy, Kevin O’Donnell of Watervliet, Bob O’Donnell of Menands and Rich (Julie) O’Donnell of Colonie. Nephews, Mike O’Donnell of Watervliet and Liam O’Donnell of Colonie. Niece, Olivia O’Donnell of Colonie. Also survived by a cousins.

Mark attended Union Springs Academy in Union Springs NY graduated in 1985. He was a lifetime member of the Greater Albany Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cohoes, NY.H e was a former bus driver for the Brittonkill Brunswick Central School and also a baker for Hannaford Brothers. He was a big Nascar fan especially Richard Petty. He enjoyed Lebanon Valley Speedway, Fonda Speedway. He loved golf and traveling in the Adirondacks and all the United State Parks and Beaches.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Monday, August 11, 2025, from 10:00 am - 12:00pm., with a Memorial Service to begin at 12:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205. Inurnment will follow at Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, Ravena NY.
