Marjorie A. Vandeusen

North Albany- Marjorie A. VanDeusen (Parker) "Marge", 81, died Monday, October 31, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Mason Parker and Elizabeth Parker (O'Hare) and wife for 62 years to James VanDeusen. Marge was a graduate of Cathedral Academy in Albany. She worked for many years at Montgomery Wards and served as an X-ray file clerk for Albany Memorial Hospital.

In addition to her husband Marge is survived by their children, James VanDeusen Jr. (Kerry), Jean Hoffman (William), Peter VanDeusen (Chong Suk), Mary Solek (Walter), Marjorie Whited (Daniel), Lorrie Kennedy and Kristine Guilbault (Richard). Marge dearly loved her siblings, Alice Begley (James), the late Richard Parker (Shirley) and Elizabeth Weist (Lawrence). Marge is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren which whom she loved spending time with. She also loved all of her many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 11:00am-12:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service and Memory Gardens Cemetery.
