Marion Delconte

BALLSTON SPA-Marion B. C. DelConte, 99, formerly of Albany, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Saratoga Center (Maplewood Manor) in Ballston Spa.
Marion was born on September 12, 1915 daughter of the late Frank J. and Maria W. Witt in Albany, NY. She spent her life living in the Albany area. She and her beloved husband Americo (Tom) DelConte were married over 50 years until he predeceased her in 1990. Marion was a devoted wife and mother. She especially enjoyed the time she spent working with the children at Westmere Elementary School. She was an avid card player and spent many hours working on her crossword puzzles.
Marion is survived by her daughter, Linda and son-in-law Winford (Skeeter) Dubb, her grandson, Erik and his wife Jodi Dubb, a niece Andrea and her husband Steve Chow, a nephew, Craig and his wife Janet Swider and a sister-in-law, Anna Perrotta.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, and her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Andrew Swider.
A funeral service for Marion will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 12:00 noon at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. in Colonie. Friends may call from 10am until 12:00 noon on Friday. Graveside services will be held following the funeral service at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
